Daily Practice Tip

There are times in our lives when being in the present moment can be extremely painful. Storms arise in our lives and bring us face to face with difficult situations and emotions. Sometimes these storms are tragic weather events that devastate and destroy lives, other times they are emotional storms that stir up past hurts and new found pain, and then there are times when these storms come in the …form of physical pain, injury, or illness.

How do we stay in the present moment when every inch of us wants to escape the pain? There is no easy answer. And yet, the present moment truly IS the only moment we actually have.
Take this moment. Close your eyes. Drop into yourself…and breath. Just this breath…just this moment…inviting compassion…for your own pain…for the pain of others…inviting peace and ease…
May you be peaceful and at ease.
May you be well.
May you be safe.
